In the former public hall of the historic headquarters in Piazzale Ostiense, Acea Heritage tells more than a century of history of Italy's leading water utility through a 1,300-square-metre display that includes a photographic archive of more than 31,000 images and a library of over 600 volumes on water, energy and industrial architecture. The inaugural exhibition, "Art, Design and Architecture at the Palazzo", shows around 70 works by Gino Marotta and Pietro De Laurentiis, the artists behind the company's monumental sculptures. Open to the public by appointment, the museum is part of the Museimpresa network and tells the story of Acea's contribution to Rome's urban development.
