Barone Cornacchia is a historic family wine estate from the Teramo area, active in Torano Nuovo for more than a century and passed down through generations in growing Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. The winery is among the historic producers of the Colline Teramane DOCG denomination, made from hillside vineyards exposed to the breezes flowing from the nearby Gran Sasso towards the Adriatic. The visit traces the family's history and the winemaking and ageing stages behind the Teramo area's most structured reds. The estate's name recalls the noble title that has accompanied its tradition since its nineteenth-century origins.
