A historic Calabrian winery active since the nineteenth century in Lamezia Terme, among the region's best-known and most-awarded brands. It grows native grapes such as Gaglioppo, Magliocco and Nocera, giving rise to Lamezia DOC wines, but is also known as one of the few southern Italian wineries to make classic-method sparkling wine. The estate combines modern winemaking technology with a long family tradition of grape-growing in Calabria. The visit takes in a walk through vineyards, winery and ageing areas, with a tasting of the estate's historic labels and sparkling wines.
