Company Museum Heritage Lab Italgas
Turin, Piedmont
Born from the transformation of the Italgas Museum and Historical Archive, the Heritage Lab occupies a renovated site in Largo Regio Parco and applies digitisation technologies, 3D included, to a heritage spanning more than 180 years of gas history in Italy. The archive preserves a linear kilometre of documents, some dating back to the thirteenth century, together with a specialist library with texts from the seventeenth century to today. A memory lab combining research, conservation and outreach on Turin's energy innovation.
