Winery Velenosi

Founded in 1984 in Ascoli Piceno by Ercole and Angela Velenosi, the winery has grown into one of the most awarded names in the Piceno area, now with four sites between Ascoli, Castorano, Monsampolo del Tronto and Castel di Lama. Its flagship labels, Rosso Piceno Superiore Roggio del Filare and Offida Rosso Ludi, sit alongside whites from Passerina and Pecorino that speak to the Piceno area. The visit, by appointment at the historic site, includes a guided tasting and, on clear days, a walk through the hillside vine rows. A project born from two young entrepreneurs' wish to renew local winemaking by combining artisan craft with modern technology.
