Born in 1927 with the Cassani Tractor, among the first tractors in the world fitted with a diesel engine, the SDF group tells its story in the SAME Museum and Historical Archive in Treviglio, more than 900 square metres holding over 360,000 photographs, technical drawings, documents and advertising materials. On display, historic tractors and prototypes in perfect condition trace the evolution of Italian farm mechanisation through the SAME, Lamborghini Trattori, Hürlimann and Deutz-Fahr brands. The free visit lets visitors follow closely the interplay between industrial innovation and twentieth-century rural life.
