Basilisco

A Barile winery born in the early 2000s to tell the story of Aglianico del Vulture through a parcel-by-parcel reading, showcasing the differences between the volcano's various slopes. The vineyards lie on volcanic soils at different altitudes, giving rise to distinct labels such as the "Teodosio" cru, the expression of a single plot. The estate is part of the group of producers who, over the past two decades, have helped bring Aglianico del Vulture to the attention of international critics. The visit takes in a walk through the vineyards on the slopes of the Vulture and a tasting of the different labels at the winery.
