Cantine D'Angelo

A Rionero in Vulture winery founded by Donato D'Angelo in the 1960s, among the estates that helped define the Aglianico del Vulture DOC denomination from its early days. The estate, now run by the D'Angelo family, grows vineyards on the slopes of the dormant volcano, on lava soils that give the wines minerality and structure. Among its historic labels is the "Vigna Caselle" cru, which helped build the winery's reputation. The visit traces the history of one of the denomination's pioneering estates, through vineyards and winemaking cellar.
