A Rionero in Vulture winery set in caves dug into volcanic tuff, some centuries old, now used as a natural ageing space for Aglianico del Vulture. The estate's name recalls the founder's profession, notary Gerardo Giuratrabocchetti, a theme also echoed in labels such as "Il Sigillo" and "La Firma". The vineyards grow on the volcanic slopes of Monte Vulture, on mineral-rich soils that shape the profile of the area's wines. The visit takes in a walk through the underground caves and a tasting of the winery's different interpretations of Aglianico.
