Founded in the late nineteenth century and relaunched from the 1960s by the Di Majo family, the Campomarino estate is the oldest and most prestigious winery in Molise's wine country. Di Majo Norante led the revival of Tintilia, a nearly extinct native grape now protected by the Tintilia del Molise DOC denomination, alongside Falanghina, Greco, Montepulciano and Aglianico grown in vineyards sloping down towards the Adriatic. The winemaking guidance of Riccardo Cotarella and attention to sustainable farming practices have helped bring Molise wines to international markets. The visit takes in the coastal vineyards, the historic winery and a tasting of the labels that express the region's winemaking identity.
