Galleria Campari

Sesto San Giovanni, Lombardy

The Galleria Campari occupies the historic Art Nouveau plant in Sesto San Giovanni, the first factory opened by Davide Campari in 1904, transformed between 2007 and 2009 by architect Mario Botta into the group's new headquarters and opened as a museum in 2010. The historical archive holds more than 3,500 posters, drawings, sketches and advertising paintings created from 1860 to today by great names of Italian graphic design such as Dudovich, Nizzoli, Cappiello, Depero and Munari. The exhibition alternates artworks with historic bar tools, period bottles, glasses and merchandising and design objects tracing the brand's evolving image. A free museum that captures the interplay of industry, advertising and art that made Campari an icon of Italian taste.
