Museo Fratelli Branca (Collezione Branca)

The Museo Collezione Branca, open since 2009, stands inside the Fratelli Branca plant on Via Resegone in Milan, one of the last working factories still in the city and the place where Fernet-Branca was born in 1845. The multisensory route leads past old stills, grinding wheels and the distinctive wheel of spices sourced from four continents, recreating the atmosphere of the original workshops. The collection also includes a rich picture archive and advertising posters tracing the brand's communication history from the nineteenth century to today. The roughly hour-long guided visit, by appointment, reveals the ingredients and botanical secrets behind the famous bitter recipe.
