Founded in 1950 by brothers Antonio and Nicodemo Librandi in Cirò Marina, it is Calabria's most internationally known winery and among the pioneers of the Cirò DOC specification. In its experimental Rosaneti vineyard the estate has over time revived nearly extinct native grape varieties, growing them alongside the denomination's traditional Gaglioppo. Among its signature labels is Duca Sanfelice, a Cirò Classico Riserva made from bush-trained vines. The cellar visit crosses the winemaking facilities and ageing areas, with a tasting of the wines that carried the Cirò name to foreign markets.
