Elah Dufour Novi

Novi Ligure, Piedmont

The group brings together three historic names of Italian confectionery: Novi, born in 1903 as a company making chocolate and sugared almonds, Elah, founded in 1909 in Genoa for puddings and dessert mixes, and Dufour, active since 1926 in Ligurian sweets and jellies. The Novi Ligure plant covers 120,000 square metres, 40,000 of them covered, divided into the Elah, Dufour and Novi departments, completely renovated in the early 1990s with some of Europe's most advanced technology. In November 2025 the company officially joined the Associazione Marchi Storici d'Italia, the register protecting Italian brands more than a century old. Factory visits trace more than a century of Piedmontese and Ligurian confectionery tradition, from Novi chocolate to Dufour sweets.
