Founded in 2015 in Bologna at the wish of entrepreneur Alberto Masotti, the Fondazione Fashion Research Italy is based in the renovated former La Perla headquarters, in the Roveri industrial area. Its heart is the fashion archive, which holds the Renzo Brandone collection of 30,000 textile designs on paper and fabric and 5,000 trade volumes, catalogued into 51 thematic areas. A collection that tells the story of made-in-Italy textiles and trains new generations of fashion professionals.
