At the Tenuta La Rampata, among the vineyards of the Val d'Enza near Reggio Emilia, the guided visit crosses the rows of vines and the small wine museum before entering the nineteenth-century vinegar loft, where the oldest barrel has been ageing balsamic vinegar since 1906. Amid the dim light of attics filled with barrels, visitors discover the slow maturing of PDO Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia, ending in the tasting room with three vinegar labels and the Medici family's Lambrusco wines.
