Museo Lavazza

Turin, Piedmont

The Museo Lavazza occupies about 1,200 square metres inside the Nuvola Lavazza, the complex designed by architect Cino Zucchi and opened in 2018 in Turin's Aurora district, not far from where the company took its first steps in 1895. The multimedia exhibition, designed by the international firm Ralph Appelbaum, unfolds across five areas — Casa Lavazza, La Fabbrica, La Piazza, L'Atelier and Universo — tracing more than 120 years of coffee and brand history. Alongside the museum route is the Archivio Storico Lavazza, which holds more than 8,500 documents, photographs and advertising materials. A sensory journey weaving together coffee culture, corporate communication and contemporary design.
