The Pasta Formia brand carries on the legacy of Pastificio Paone, founded in 1878 in Formia by the young Domenico Paone and still going today after 145 years of family history, through wars and changes in the industry. The Paone brothers relaunched production at the new industrial site in Penitro, on the outskirts of Minturno, combining craft know-how passed down through generations with up-to-date pasta-making equipment. The guided visit to the production plant lets visitors trace this history first-hand, following the stages from wheat to packaged pasta.
