Factory Prosciuttificio Bagatto

The ham house was opened in 1954 by Rino Bagatto, one of the founding members of the Prosciutto di San Daniele Consortium, on Via Cesare Battisti; it is now run by the third generation, with his son Dante and grandson Lorenzo leading the family business. The plant, renovated in the 1990s and expanded in 2012 with a shop and tasting room, produces exclusively Prosciutto di San Daniele following the artisan method handed down by the founder. Free guided tours, lasting around 40 minutes, can be booked online on weekends, while lunch on site is available every day by reservation.
