Workshop Slitti
Monsummano Terme, Tuscany
Born in 1969 in Monsummano Terme as a coffee roastery founded by Luciano Slitti, the company expanded into chocolate in 1989 when his sons Andrea and Daniele joined, and is today a benchmark of Italian artisan chocolate with more than 190 international awards. In the workshop, active since 2012, selected cocoa beans arrive from Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Jamaica and Madagascar, worked under the guidance of master chocolatier Andrea Slitti. The factory visit lets visitors follow every stage of production, from bean to bar to packaging, and typically ends with a stop at the Slitti café to sample pralines, hot chocolate and the house-roasted coffee blends.
