Founded in 1918 by Antonio Argiolas in Serdiana, in the heart of the Trexenta, it is now family-run and considered one of Sardinia's benchmark wineries. Its leap in quality came in the late 1980s through a partnership with winemaker Giacomo Tachis, who helped create labels such as Turriga, a blend of Cannonau, Bovale and Carignano that became a symbol of Sardinian winemaking. The estate also grows white grapes such as Nasco, Nuragus and Vermentino, the basis for fresher, everyday wines. The visit takes in the Trexenta vineyards and the winemaking and ageing cellars, blending farming history with winemaking research.
