Born in the Val Venosta, Moser Speckworld is an approximately 250-square-metre space set up like a traditional mountain hut and entirely dedicated to South Tyrolean speck. The museum route, made up of information panels and interactive stations, recreates a period smokehouse with the Selchkuchl stove, old scales and processing tools, plus a pig trough. It draws more than 100,000 visitors a year, who can book guided tours of the production process ending with a tasting of Moser cured meats.
