Ottin

Antey-Saint-André, Aosta Valley

The estate was born from Elio Ottin's passion; after studying at the Institut Agricole Régional he began growing vines in 1989 and in 2007 bottled his first labels under his own name, including Petite Arvine, Pinot Noir and Torrette Supérieur. The winery, opened in 2009 together with other producers in the area and expanded in 2015, now makes around 30,000 bottles a year on the Aosta Valley's sun-facing slopes. Tastings by appointment reveal mountain wines combining native and international grape varieties grown on steep terraces. A small artisan operation, among the most admired in the Aosta Valley's heroic viticulture.
