Factory Pastificio Attilio Mastromauro Granoro

Heir to a family of pasta makers active since the early twentieth century, Attilio Mastromauro founded the Granoro pasta factory in Corato in 1967, in the heart of Puglia's durum-wheat country. From the 1980s his daughters Marina and Daniela joined the founder, who ran the company until the age of 102, developing ten continuous production lines for long pasta, short pasta and special egg pasta shapes. Plant visits offer a close look at a process combining industrial technology with respect for tradition, never rushing the pace of production.
